Story 1 – « Marie in Paris »

Depuis son enfance, Marie rêvait de vivre à Paris. À ses 30 ans, elle a donc décidé de prendre les choses en main et de réaliser son rêve en quittant Metz, sa ville natale.
Elle a trouvé un petit studio dans le quartier de Montmartre et a tout laissé derrière elle pour commencer une nouvelle vie dans la ville de l’amour.
Au début, tout était excitant et nouveau pour Marie. Elle adorait se promener dans les rues pavées, découvrir de nouveaux cafés et restaurants et s’immerger dans la culture parisienne.
Malheureusement, la vie à Paris n’a pas été toute rose pour Marie lors des premiers mois. Trouver un emploi stable a été un défi, et elle a dû faire plusieurs petits boulots pour payer ses factures.
Elle a également eu du mal à s’adapter à la vie solitaire dans son petit studio, et elle a souvent eu l’impression de se sentir un peu perdue et isolée. Mais heureusement, elle a fini par se faire des amis et a commencé à s’intégrer dans plusieurs groupes.
Puis un jour, alors qu’elle se promenait dans les rues animées de Montmartre, Marie a vu une petite chienne qui semblait effrayée et perdue.
Sans réfléchir, Marie a pris la chienne sous son aile et l’a emmenée chez elle. Elle l’a nourrie, lui a donné un bain et l’a appelée “Luna”.
Au fil du temps, Luna est devenue la meilleure amie de Marie et lui a apporté beaucoup de réconfort et de compagnie pendant ses moments de solitude.
Heureusement, avec le temps, Marie a commencé à trouver ses marques à Paris et à se sentir plus à l’aise dans sa vie.
Elle a trouvé un emploi stable et a commencé à explorer la ville et à découvrir de nouveaux endroits. Elle a même rencontré quelqu’un de spécial et est tombée amoureuse.
Aujourd’hui, Marie a 35 ans et est plus heureuse que jamais. Elle aime sa vie à Paris et est reconnaissante d’avoir pris le risque de tout quitter pour réaliser son rêve.
Elle a appris beaucoup de choses sur elle-même et sur la vie en vivant dans la ville de l’amour, et elle sait qu’elle a encore beaucoup de choses à découvrir.
Since childhood, Marie dreamed of living in Paris. At the age of 30, she decided to take control and fulfill her dream by leaving her hometown of Metz. She found a small studio in the Montmartre neighborhood and left everything behind to start a new life in the city of love.
At first, everything was exciting and new for Marie. She loved to walk in the cobblestone streets, discover new cafes and restaurants, and immerse herself in the Parisian culture. Unfortunately, life in Paris was not all rosy for Marie in the early months. Finding a stable job was a challenge, and she had to do several odd jobs to pay the bills. She also struggled to adapt to the solitary life in her small studio and often felt a little lost and isolated. But luckily, she made friends and started to become part of different groups.
One day, while walking in the lively streets of Montmartre, Marie saw a little dog that appeared scared and lost. Without thinking, Marie took the dog under her wing and brought her home. She fed her, gave her a bath and called her “Luna”. Over time, Luna became Marie’s best friend and brought her much comfort and company during her moments of solitude.
Fortunately, over time, Marie started to find her way in Paris and feel more comfortable in her life. She found a stable job and started to explore the city and discover new places. She even met someone special and fell in love.
Today, Marie is 35 years old and happier than ever. She loves her life in Paris and is grateful for taking the risk to leave everything behind to fulfill her dream. She learned a lot about herself and life by living in the city of love and knows she still has many things to discover.
Story 2 – « Lucie gets a Guinea pig »

Depuis toujours, Lucie rêve d’avoir un cochon d’Inde. Elle passe énormément de temps à regarder des photos et des vidéos sur cet animal qu’elle trouve trop adorable. Âgée de dix ans, elle espère que ses parents accepteront de lui en offrir un pour son anniversaire qui arrive bientôt.
Malheureusement, ses parents ont toujours refusé jusqu’à présent. Ils lui ont dit que les cochons d’Inde demandaient beaucoup de travail et qu’ils n’avaient pas le temps ni l’espace pour en prendre soin.
Bien que déçue par le refus de ses parents, Lucie a décidé de ne pas abandonner.
Elle a commencé à faire des recherches sur les cochons d’Inde et à apprendre tout ce qu’elle pouvait sur eux. Elle a même économisé de l’argent de poche pour pouvoir acheter une cage et tout ce dont son cochon d’Inde aurait besoin.
Lucie a ensuite décidé de faire un exposé pour convaincre ses parents de lui acheter un cochon d’Inde à son prochain anniversaire. Elle a passé des heures à préparer des images et à répéter son discours.
Le jour de la présentation, elle était nerveuse, mais elle était déterminée à réussir.
Quand elle a terminé, ses parents ont été impressionnés par sa passion et sa détermination.
Ils ont finalement accepté de lui acheter un cochon d’Inde et Lucie était la plus heureuse des filles.
Elle a choisi un cochon d’Inde blanc et noir, qu’elle a baptisé « Crocky » et prend soin de lui comme si c’était son bébé.
Aujourd’hui, Lucie et Crocky sont les meilleurs amis du monde et ne peuvent plus imaginer leur vie l’un sans l’autre.
Lucie has always dreamt of owning a guinea pig. She spends a lot of time watching pictures and videos of the animal that she finds too adorable. At the age of ten, she hopes her parents will agree to give her one for her upcoming birthday.
Unfortunately, her parents have always declined until now. They told her that guinea pigs require a lot of work and that they don’t have the time or space to take care of one. Although disappointed by her parents’ rejection, Lucie decided not to give up.
She started researching guinea pigs and learning all she could about them. She even saved her allowance money to buy a cage and everything her guinea pig would need. Lucie then decided to make a presentation to convince her parents to buy her a guinea pig for her next birthday.
She spent hours preparing images and rehearsing her speech. On the presentation day, she was nervous but determined to succeed. When she finished, her parents were impressed by her passion and determination.
They finally agreed to buy her a guinea pig and Lucie was the happiest girl. She chose a black and white guinea pig, which she named “Crocky,” and takes care of him as if he were her baby.
Today, Lucie and Crocky are the best of friends and cannot imagine their life without each other.
Story 3 – « Martin and Julie at the supermarket »

Martin et Julie sont mariés depuis cinq ans et sont très heureux ensemble. Ils ont l’habitude de faire leur course au supermarché tous les samedis matin, cela leur donne l’occasion de passer du temps ensemble et de discuter de leurs projets pour la semaine.
Ce matin-là, ils se sont levés de bonne heure et ont préparé leur liste de courses. Ils ont mis leurs chaussures et ont pris leur sac à dos, puis sont partis au supermarché du coin.
Le supermarché était bondé, comme d’habitude, mais Martin et Julie sont habitués à la foule. Ils ont commencé à parcourir les rayons, mettant dans leur chariot tout ce dont ils avaient besoin pour la semaine.
Soudain, alors qu’ils passaient devant le rayon des jouets, Julie a été attirée par un chat en peluche qui miaulait et bougeait les oreilles.
“Oh mon Dieu, regarde ça!” s’exclama Julie en saisissant le jouet et en le faisant miauler. “Il est tellement mignon!”
Martin sourit et secoua la tête. “Je ne sais pas, chérie. Nous n’avons pas vraiment besoin d’un autre jouet chez nous.”
Julie fronça les sourcils*et regarda le jouet d’un air implorant. “S’il te plaît, Martin. Je n’ai jamais eu de chat en peluche quand j’étais enfant et j’ai toujours voulu en avoir un. Cela me ferait vraiment plaisir.”
Martin soupira et regarda le jouet avec un air désolé. “Je sais que ça te ferait plaisir, mais nous avons déjà tellement de jouets à la maison. Je ne suis pas sûr que nous en ayons besoin d’un autre.”
Julie se mordit la lèvre, puis reposa le jouet dans le rayon. “D’accord, d’accord. Je comprends. Je vais le mettre de côté pour plus tard.”
Martin sourit et lui tapota la main. “Je suis désolé, chérie. Je sais que tu voulais vraiment ce jouet. Peut-être que tu pourrais le mettre sur ta liste de cadeaux de Noël.”
Julie hocha la tête et sourit. “Oui, c’est une bonne idée. Merci, mon chéri.”
For the word sourcils in French, eyebrows, according to the rule we are not supposed to pronounce the l at the end, so it should be “sourci”, however in reality, most French people say sourcils, with the l pronounced like in cil, eyelash.
Martin and Julie have been married for five years and are very happy together. They have a routine of doing their grocery shopping every Saturday morning, which gives them a chance to spend time together and talk about their plans for the week.
This morning, they got up early and prepared their shopping list. They put on their shoes and took their backpacks, then headed to the nearby grocery store.
The grocery store was crowded, as usual, but Martin and Julie are used to the crowd. They began to walk through the aisles, putting everything they needed for the week into their cart.
Suddenly, as they walked past the toy aisle, Julie was drawn to a plush cat that was meowing and moving its ears.
“Oh my God, look at this!” Julie exclaimed, grabbing the toy and making it meow. “It’s so cute!”
Martin smiled and shook his head. “I don’t know, honey. We don’t really need another toy at home.”
Julie frowned and looked at the toy pleadingly. “Please, Martin. I never had a plush cat when I was a child and I’ve always wanted one. It would really make me happy.”
Martin sighed and looked at the toy with a regretful look. “I know it would make you happy, but we already have so many toys at home. I’m not sure we need another one.”
Julie bit her lip, then put the toy back in the aisle. “Okay, okay. I understand. I’ll set it aside for later.”
Martin smiled and patted her hand. “I’m sorry, honey. I know you really wanted that toy. Maybe you can put it on your Christmas gift list.”
Julie nodded and smiled. “Yes, that’s a good idea. Thanks, my love.”
Story 4 – « Julien goes to the doctor »

Julien est un petit garçon de sept ans qui adore aller à l’école et jouer dehors avec ses amis. Mais un jour, il a commencé à se sentir très malade et il a eu de la fièvre.
Inquiète, sa mère l’a rapidement emmené chez le Dr Dupont pour qu’il puisse être examiné. Le médecin était un homme gentil et attentionné. Il a examiné Julien et lui a posé beaucoup de questions sur ses symptômes.
Il a écouté son cœur et a regardé dans sa gorge et ses oreilles. Finalement, le Dr Dupont a souri et a dit à Julien : “Tu as une petite infection, mon garçon. Ne t’inquiète pas, nous allons te donner un médicament qui va te faire sentir mieux très vite.” Julien était soulagé.
Il avait un peu peur d’aller chez le médecin, mais le Dr Dupont était très gentil et avait tout expliqué de manière simple et facile à comprendre.
Il a pris son médicament et est rentré à la maison avec sa mère. Le lendemain matin, Julien s’est réveillé en se sentant beaucoup mieux.
Il a sauté du lit et a couru dans la cuisine en criant : “Je suis guéri ! Je suis guéri !”
Sa mère a souri et a caressé les cheveux de Julien. “Je suis contente que tu te sentes mieux, mon chéri. Tu as été très courageux et tu as pris ton médicament comme un grand garçon.”
Julien a souri fièrement et a hoché la tête. “Oui, j’ai été très courageux. Et maintenant, je peux aller jouer dehors avec mes amis !”
Il a attrapé sa veste et ses chaussures et a couru dehors, heureux de pouvoir retourner à ses activités préférées. Sa mère l’a regardé partir en souriant, heureuse de voir son fils en bonne santé et heureux.
Plus tard dans la journée, Julien est allé rendre visite au Dr Dupont pour le remercier de l’avoir guéri mieux. Le médecin a souri et a donné à Julien une petite boîte de bonbons en forme de cœur.
“Tu es un garçon très courageux, Julien,” a dit le Dr Dupont. “Je suis fier de toi.”
Julien a souri et a remercié le médecin, puis il est rentré chez lui avec sa mère, heureux d’avoir passé une journée joyeuse et agréable.
Julien is a seven-year-old boy who loves going to school and playing outside with his friends. But one day, he started feeling very sick and had a fever. Worried, his mother quickly took him to Dr. Dupont for an examination. The doctor was a kind and attentive man.
He examined Julien and asked him a lot of questions about his symptoms. He listened to his heart and looked in his throat and ears. Finally, Dr. Dupont smiled and said to Julien, “You have a little infection, my boy. Don’t worry, we’ll give you a medicine that will make you feel better very soon.” Julien was relieved.
He was a little scared to go to the doctor, but Dr. Dupont was very kind and explained everything in a simple and easy-to-understand way.
He took his medicine and went home with his mother. The next morning, Julien woke up feeling much better. He jumped out of bed and ran into the kitchen shouting, “I’m cured! I’m cured!” His mother smiled and stroked Julien’s hair. “I’m glad you feel better, my darling. You were very brave and took your medicine like a big boy.”
Julien smiled proudly and nodded. “Yes, I was very brave. And now I can go play outside with my friends!” He grabbed his jacket and shoes and ran outside, happy to return to his favorite activities. His mother watched him leave with a smile, happy to see her son healthy and happy.
Later in the day, Julien went to visit Dr. Dupont to thank him for healing him. The doctor smiled and gave Julien a small box of heart-shaped candies. “You’re a very brave boy, Julien,” said Dr. Dupont. “I’m proud of you.”
Julien smiled and thanked the doctor, then he went home with his mother, happy to have had a joyful and pleasant day.
Story 5 – « Family trip at the zoo »

Nous sommes samedi matin, la famille Durand se prépare pour une sortie au zoo. Maria, la maman vérifie les tickets d’entrée pour tout le monde et Marc, le papa, prépare un sac à dos rempli de nourriture et de boissons. Les enfants, Elena et Marco sont très excités car c’est leur première sortie au zoo.
Une fois prêts, ils montent tous dans la voiture, et prennent la route.
Après une heure de trajet, ils arrivent enfin au zoo. Les Durand ne perdent pas de temps et commencent immédiatement à explorer les différents enclos.
Ils voient des girafes, des lions, des tigres et même des éléphants. Les enfants sont émerveillés par la taille des girafes et fascinés par les lions.
Ils se dirigent ensuite vers l’enclos des singes. Mais là, quelque chose de drôle se passe. Un singe s’échappe et court vers la famille. Les enfants crient de peur, mais le singe n’est pas méchant, il veut simplement jouer. Il commence à courir autour d’eux et à les faire rire.
Assistant à la scène, les gardiens du zoo ne tardent pas à venir pour ramener le vilain petit singe dans son enclos.
Amusée par ce qu’il vient de se passer, la famille décide d’aller manger, car il est bientôt midi. Ils ouvrent leur sac à dos et sortent leurs sandwichs et leurs boissons. Ils partagent également du pain avec les écureuils qui se promènent autour d’eux.
L’après-midi, la famille continue à explorer le zoo et à voir d’autres animaux. Ils visitent la volière immense remplie de perroquets et de colombes. Les enfants sont étonnés de voir des oiseaux de toutes les couleurs.
Puis pour finir, ils vont voir les manchots. Elena et Marco les adorent et rient en les voyant marcher et plonger dans l’eau. C’est un spectacle très amusant.
Après plusieurs heures de visite, la famille quitte finalement le zoo en fin d’après-midi, épuisée mais heureuse. Sur le chemin du retour, ils parlent de toutes les choses merveilleuses qu’ils ont vues durant leur visite.
Une journée inoubliable pour la famille, qui est déjà impatiente de visiter un autre zoo.
It’s Saturday morning, the Durand family is getting ready for a trip to the zoo. Mom, Maria, checks the entry tickets for everyone and dad, Marc, packs a backpack filled with food and drinks. The kids, Elena and Marco, are very excited as it’s their first trip to the zoo.
Once they’re ready, they all get in the car and hit the road.
After an hour’s drive, they finally arrive at the zoo. The Durands waste no time and immediately start exploring the different enclosures.
They see giraffes, lions, tigers, and even elephants. The kids are awestruck by the size of the giraffes and fascinated by the lions.
They then head towards the monkey enclosure. But something funny happens there. A monkey escapes and runs toward the family. The kids scream in fear, but the monkey isn’t mean, it just wants to play. It starts running around them and making them laugh.
Witnessing the scene, the zoo keepers quickly come to take the naughty little monkey back to its enclosure.
Amused by what just happened, the family decides to go eat, as it’s almost noon. They open their backpack and take out their sandwiches and drinks. They also share bread with the squirrels roaming around them.
In the afternoon, the family continues to explore the zoo and see more animals. They visit the huge aviary filled with parrots and doves. The kids are amazed to see birds of all colors.
Then to finish, they go see the penguins. Elena and Marco love them and laugh as they watch them walk and dive into the water. It’s a very entertaining show.
After several hours of visiting, the family finally leaves the zoo in the late afternoon, exhausted but happy. On the way back, they talk about all the wonderful things they saw during their visit.
An unforgettable day for the family, who are already eager to visit another zoo.
